How to install the cylinder of the hydraulic press
① When installing the hydraulic cylinder, first check whether the piston rod is bent, especially for long-stroke cylinders. Bending of the piston rod will cause damage to the cylinder head seal, leading to leakage, creeping and movement failure, and aggravate the partial wear of the piston rod.
②The sleeve center line of the oil cylinder should be parallel to the guide rail. Pay special attention to the situation when the piston rod is fully extended. If the two are not parallel, a large lateral force will be generated, causing problems such as excessive oil force, poor commutation, long travel, and cylinder seal damage and failure. Generally, the guide rail can be used as a benchmark, and a dial indicator can be used to adjust the hydraulic cylinder so that the side busbar of the piston rod (extended) is parallel to the shaped guide rail, and the upper busbar is parallel to the flat guide rail. The tolerance is 0.04~0.08mxn/ma.
③The parallelism error between the piston axis center line and the installation base surface of the two bearings shall not be greater than 0.05nmu.
④ For hydraulic cylinders with longer strokes, the connection between the piston rod and the worktable should remain floating (connected with a spherical pair) to compensate for the stiffness caused by installation errors and the effects of thermal expansion.
