How To Deal With The Blockage Of Hydraulic Filter

- 06/24/2024 -

1. Cleaning the hydraulic filter with solvents. Common solvents include trichloroethylene, paint thinner, gasoline, carbon tetrachloride, etc. These solvents are easy to ignite and have certain toxicity. Be careful when cleaning. You can also use caustic pots, caustic baits and other alkaline solutions, surfactants and electrolytic degreasing cleaning, etc. After washing, you must use water washing and other methods to remove the solvent as soon as possible.

2. Heating volatilization method. The scale on some filters can be removed by heating, but it should be noted that carbon ash and solid attachments should not remain inside the filter element during heating. Clean with a brush. A soft brush should be used to remove the dirt on the filter element. A hard wire brush will damage the mesh and wire gap filter elements, and the sintered particles of the sintered filter element will be brushed off, and this method is not suitable for paper filters.

3. Hydraulic filter cleaning with mechanical and physical methods. Use ultrasonic cleaning to remove the dirt on the filter element, but the filter element is a porous material and has the property of absorbing ultrasonic waves, which may affect the cleaning effect.

4. Blow the hydraulic filter with compressed air. Use compressed air to blow out the dirt on the back of the dirt layer. Pulsating airflow is more effective. Use water pressure to clean. The method is the same as above. Alternating the two methods will achieve better results.
