How to bleed a hydraulic press

- 06/03/2024 -

First, make the corresponding preparations. Before bleeding the hydraulic press, you need to cut off the power supply of the machine, disconnect the oil pipe in the pressure system, open the oil tank cap, and let air into the tank. In this way, the liquid will flow back to the tank and decompress the system.
Next, you need to find the bleed valve. Generally speaking, the bleed valve of the hydraulic press is located at the lower end of the pressure system and can be operated manually or electrically. Specifically, we need to confirm the location first, then turn off the main pump and open the exhaust valve of the hydraulic system. At this time, let the system circulate the engine for a while until all the pressure in the system is released. At this time, we can open the bleed valve and completely discharge the remaining air to completely relax the system.
Finally, the hydraulic press should be safety checked. After bleeding, it is necessary to check whether there is any residual pressure in the system, confirm whether all machine parts are in the correct position, and ensure that all parts are in a loose state. In addition, it is also necessary to check whether the oil circuit and oil pipe are leaking or worn to ensure that the hydraulic press can work properly.

In the use of hydraulic presses, regular bleed operation is not only conducive to the maintenance of the machine and to ensure its normal operation, but also can improve the safety performance of the equipment, reduce the equipment failure rate, and ensure the smooth operation of the production line. Therefore, in normal use, we need to pay attention to the maintenance of the hydraulic press, regularly check and maintain the machine, and correctly perform the bleed operation to ensure the long-term stable operation of the hydraulic press.
